Integrated Logistic Support
|
RMA
& Safety program support continue throughout the
operational phases of your program. In addition to
the RMA activities SoHaR also provides Integrated
Logistic Support (ILS) and LifeCycle Cost (LCC)
analysis and predictions.
ILS
Planning
ILS planning requires the development of an
effective ILS Plan (ILSP) based on program
requirements and statement of work. SoHaR will
help you
translate supportability and readiness targets into
statements of work and specifications. Our team will
identify and define Logistic Support Requirements by
analyzing: RFP; SOW; documented requirements;
historic data from similar projects; ILS management
in the organizations / companies involved; economic
impact of the ILS requirements and integration of
financial considerations in the logistic
requirements. Every ILSP is tailored to the specific
needs of the project, taking into account the size
and complexity of the project, the technologies
involved, as well as operational requirements.
Logistics
Support Analysis (LSA)
LSA
activities should be an integral part of the
mainstream System Engineering Process, to enable
timely and effective implementation of the LSA
results in the development process. Our ILS team
will identify ILS and system engineering standards
for common use of the LSA records shared by you and
your subcontractors. Application of a cost-effective
approach in selection and tailoring of LSA ensures
direct, error-free and concise data flow between the
parties involved, avoiding large database overhead
which is a trademark of poorly planned LSA programs.
Spare
Parts Optimization
SoHaR bases
initial provisioning of spare parts for major
systems on unique algorithms for spare
parts optimization that
take into account
Cost-Availability and similar system criteria. Our
expertise lies in initial spare parts planning and
optimization for complex multi-indenture level
systems in a multi-echelon logistic environment.
Initial spare parts recommendations for new systems
are based both on reliability prediction results and
when available, historic data. Spare part quantity
recommendations always take into account operational
requirements such as wartime missions, remote
locations, requirements for potential independent
operation of units, etc.
Life Cycle
Cost (LCC)
We perform LCC
analysis for
small systems consisting of several LRUs, and up to
entire weapon systems. Starting from preliminary
LCCA at the concept evaluation stage, all the way to
detailed evaluation of alternatives leading to final
decision making.
Possible services include:
-
Creation of a
Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) with cost models
for each CBS element
-
Definition of a
set of all feasible alternatives, i.e. design
configurations, operational and environmental
profiles, maintenance and logistics policies,
distribution channels, transportation options,
etc. for tradeoff studies
-
Total LCC
calculation for the entire system or a subsystem
for any activity for each alternative and for each
phase of the life cycle.
-
Sensitivity
Analysis
We will generate the appropriate reports satisfying
the requirements of your organization and your
customers.
