RMA and Safety considerations are often neglected early in a program lifecycle. This can often become a costly mistake. Reliability and safety are always part of a program requirement and the earlier we consider them and take them into account the cheaper it is for us to implement them successfully.

As early as specifications, requirements, and SOW interpretation, SoHaR will assist you with:

• Development of  RMA and Safety plans

• Review of requirements documentation and test plans

• Reliability & Maintainability: R&M Allocation based on top level requirements and specifications; R&M Prediction based on design and field data; Design Analysis and optimization of RMA metrics

• Functional safety and hazard analyses

• Fault Tree Analysis

• Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (Process and Design FMEA)/ Failure Modes and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

• Cost-Effectiveness and Trade-Off analyses: Modeling, prediction, and financial analysis to determine the most cost effective options for reliability, sparing, training, response time, and other support resources.

• Life Cycle Cost: Prediction of life cycle costs from R&D phase through operational and phase-out phases.

• Optimal Repair Level Analysis (ORLA/LORA): Determining the best maintenance and repair concepts to support the operational phases.

• Participation in design reviews at the hardware, software, and system levels.
