MEADEP - Measurement - Based Dependability Analysis Tool

MEADEP combines flexible system-level reliability & availability prediction modeling with powerful statistical analysis tools all in one easy-to-learn dependability software package that runs on Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, and Me. It provides measures such as MTBF, MTTR, failure rate, reliability, and availability for both repairable and non-repairable systems.

The Model Generator tool makes it easy to draw reliability block diagrams (RBD) and Markov chains with its drag n' drop interface. MEADEP's hierarchical modeling structure allows you to create models of unlimited size and fidelity for precise system reliability & availability prediction.

The Data Editor and Analyzer tool provides numerous charts and graphs, and it can help you quickly determine which probability distribution functions best fit your data and the upper and lower bounds of reliability (MTBE) for any given confidence level.
